Grace Bible Church

Our Name Says it all . . .

GRACE

It is only by the grace of God that we can become a Christian, find favor with a holy God and know His forgiveness. There is nothing we can do to merit Heaven; in fact, we deserve eternal separation from God because of our sin. In a simple step of faith, we receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, based on His fathomless love, and finished work at the cross. He saves us by His amazing grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and then sustains us by His abounding grace (Acts 20:32; I Corinthians 15:10; Ephesians 6:24).

BIBLE

We love the Word of God and enjoy studying the Scriptures together. The sixty-six books of the Bible are verbally inspired and without error in the original writings. The Bible is our supreme and final authority in faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

CHURCH

We are a gathered group of believers in and disciples of Jesus Christ, exalting and serving Him, and loving and caring for each other. We welcome those of other faiths and backgrounds to inquire and discover the claims of Christ. We worship, learn, fellowship and evangelize together as a unified body of believers. (1 John 1:7)

Purpose Statement

Our purpose is to glorify God by proclaiming
Jesus Christ and living as authentic Christians!

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing."

John 15:5

Vision Statement

THE FIVE-FOLD GOAL OF VISION

  • WE ENVISION A LOVING CHURCH where people are valued, where the sinner finds redemption in the Savior, where the lonely find friends, and where the hurting find solace.
  • WE ENVISION A WORSHIPING CHURCH where we humbly praise God, where we recognize our dependence on Him, where the Bible is taught, grace is offered, hope is expressed, and where prayer is a priority.

"For we [Christians] are the true circumcision,
who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God,
and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ,
and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are]
in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical
advantages and external appearances."

Philippians 3:3 The Amplified Bible
  • WE ENVISION A DISCIPLINING CHURCH where there is a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, where there is the identifying and exercising of spiritual gifts, and where there is a strengthening of relationships with fellow believers.

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Matthew 28:18-21a
  • WE ENVISION AN EQUIPPING CHURCH where believers are trained and empowered, and
  • A SENDING CHURCH where, with compassionate hearts, these believers go out and impact our community and the world for Christ.
