Unlike the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", a good time is not the main purpose of Women's Ministry. But
having fun surely is one of the features of our events. How can you not while getting together with like-
minded sisters in Christ! According to Grace Bible By-laws, our ministry exists to "enhance the fellowship of
the body."
We do that by having about six events per year:
{luncheons in spring and fall and Christmastime,
{less formal Coffee Fellowships in summer,
{overnight in-house Retreat every 18 months.
Attendance ranges from 100 - 250.
Our goals are to grow spiritually in the area of event's theme and to get to know each other better. In addition
to beautifully decorated tables, refreshments, guided discussions at table, and a fun activity, we incorporate
GBC's 3M's: Message from a speaker, Music to inspire us, and Missions awareness.
